Whole half

I am not a hungry half seeking completion. A seed does not form as a half waiting for its perfect compliment. It ripens from the passing of a flower whole and ready. It carries it’s own nourishment and when the conditions of its environment combine to provide the elements required it sprouts and, hopefully, thrives. Too often we form attachments born in lack, seeking that which is needed outside of the self. All things that are needed must be met, to some degree, from within. If we can do this we shine and attract another whole to share the beauty of life with.
